You will only be allowed to play with a controller while playing on a console. Controllers and mouse & keyboard are very different -- we want players to feel like their experience is the same no matter where they play, but need to make sure that it feels like they’re playing the same game as the people they’re playing against.
Just as they have with their staple MOBA, League of Legends, Riot have announced plans to “expand the [Valorant] franchise” to make it accessible to “more players around the world.”
While Valorant PS4 is not available on the console, you can still enjoy the PC game. Don’t forget to check up on its updates to see the release date for Valorant PS5. Note that once the mobile version is released, it would be easier to play on your console.

I think it's quite a good application. It is useful to find out the approximate strength level of enemies and teammates, +- you understand how to play this game. And it's interesting to see stats about yourself.
